The Executive Director will provide leadership, vision, guidance and strategic direction for the programs and membership of the Greater Ukiah Chamber of Commerce. The Executive Director is responsible for the overall management and administration of the Chamber's day-to-day work, programs, budget, member relations and enforcement of policies. The ED will facilitate and lead board efforts to achieve the mission and goals of the Chamber as approved by the Board of Directors. The ED will demonstrate knowledge and expertise on economic development, marketing and branding concepts, membership sales, and the opportunities and challenges leading to growth and prosperity of large and small employers in the Ukiah Valley area. The ED will demonstrate openness to ideas from a variety of sources and focus on achieving positive outcomes. The successful candidate for this position must be a highly collaborative leader with the ability to successfully manage current programs, while developing new programs and partnerships with City and County leaders, business and community organizations.
Strategic planning including monthly, bi-annual and annual reporting.
Manage events such as monthly mixers, annual awards dinner, fundraising and learning opportunities.
Works directly with CFO to prepare annual, bi-annual and monthly financial reports and budgets.
Generate new membership and maintain existing member businesses.
Generate all communications from the Chamber including but not limited to newsletters, social media, website, and press releases.
Maintain and develop community partnerships.
The ED is responsible to and reports to the Executive Board of Directors.
Job Types: Full-time plus commission
Salary: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
